A Inspiration Before the Weekend

I used to be involved in a community chorus, and a number of years ago we sang this standard at one at one of our spring concerts. I love the sentiment. And I love that it was written by Charlie Chaplin (the music anyway) - a man who knew a lot about making other people smile.

Smile though your heart is aching  
Smile even though it's breaking.
When there are clouds in the sky you'll get by.
If you smile through your pain and sorrow  
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll see the sun come shining through 
For you.
Light up your face with gladness,
Hide every trace of sadness.  
Although a tear may be ever so near

You'll find that life is still worthwhile-
If you just smile.
